Welcome to 1 Meditation!
You've probably heard of yoga, but have you heard of Kundalini Yoga, a yoga practice that can reverse symptoms of stress and anxiety in as little as 3 minutes?
Let me introduce you.
Do you have 180 seconds for you?
What is it?
Kundalini yoga is the yoga of awareness. Kundalini uses conscious breathing, physical postures, meditation and mantra to move energy and tune the body to a higher frequency.
How does it work?
The combination of these techniques have specific effects on our central nervous system, heart rate, blood flow, and lymphatic system.
So what exactly am I doing?
Say a mantra, close your eyes, and move your body.

Meditation made easy.
Meditation is the training ground for a healthy mind.
Just like we train our bodies and muscles through exercise, we must train our mind to make friends with our thoughts and emotions so we can detach and observe vs. be consumed by them.
Meditation and mindfulness change how we relate to our own feelings, which can in turn change the way we relate to the people and world around us.
Meditators do not have any more control over what happens in their lives, but they have much more control in how they respond to it. By strengthening the connection between the emotional and regulatory part of the brain, the response to emotional events is much more controlled for people who meditate than people who don’t.
Let's talk Science.
What is anxiety?
Anxiety is a normal human emotion embedded in our system as a survival instinct to deal with potential threats and danger.
However, about 300 million people worldwide struggle with an anxiety disorder - that's a HUGE number!
For people with anxiety disorders, worry is often constant, overwhelming, and can be crippling.
In an age of frequent change and technological advances, consumption is king, authentic connection is strained, and our mental health is suffering because of it.
How can meditation help?
Meditation trains the brain to detach from anxious thoughts instead of obsessing over them.
By becoming a viewer to what is happening in our brain, we realize that anxiety is not who we are and our thoughts can be observed without attachment.
This process gives us a tool to relieve anxiety and find more peace.
